Living Earth - Clock & Weather App Reviews

Ive used this app for years, and it just keeps getting better. Its always been the most beautifully-presented weather app, IMO, but recently theyve added additional weather information like hourly forecasts, etc., that make it feel "feature-complete" probably 95% of the time that I use it. (And thats one of the highest forms of praise I can think of to give an app.) In fact, it just occurred to me today that Im going to replace the "Weather" folder of apps on my first home screen with this single app. Its that good.

Great program. So what keeps me from giving 5 stars? Lacks ability to be used as a complication within the Apple Watch. If “Dark Skies” can do this and it’s FREE, Living Earth should have the same ability! Developers get on the stick!

The orange sunrise in the new icon makes it much easier to pick out on my Apple Watch ! The Apple Watch hurricane tracker notification is great too; if it looks interesting, I can open the full app and see it in high res on the phone. Apple needs to buy this app and make it default weather app for all iOS devices.

I love affordable apps that are updated meaningfully for years! This is the best yet… so crisp and clear and smooth now! Adding the entire Universe to the “Earth" app is hilarious but it’s such a huge improvement too! Thanks! Please go back to using a nice icon tho. The new one is really bleah.

Visualizing realtime global weather patterns should be a starting place for weather apps, not an afterthought. Living Earth gets this right. Id like the ability to dig even deeper into local numbers, and compare them with past events, but come on. This app delivers what you most need to know in consummate style.

Went from a wonderful easy to read easy to use perfect app to a hard to navigate big graphics non-user friendly semi-useless lots of pretty pics, not much info mess. Less info and just plain miserable pos. Updated by mistake as I try to read reviews first. Prefer StormTracker app.

This is my go to app for weather updates while traveling especially. I can see what current and forecast conditions are for places I might visit and plan accordingly.

This is a fairly decent app. For most part its been quite accurate, which is useful especially since I tend to look days in advance. I do like using it since I tend to not look at weather channels or news channels, since Im not a huge television watcher. I only recently started using this app since my favorite weather app had died of creator neglect. So far, I like what Im seeing here.

Look down and SEE your weather from outer space, see if clouds are headed your way and what they look like. Wonderful App. I give it 6 stars.

This is a great app but ever since I updated to iOS 9.3.1 the temp badge on the app icon doesnt update unless I open the app. I hope this gets fixed soon because thats my favorite feature.

The alarm often doesnt work when set to wake up to a shuffled playlist. Customer support is unresponsive. Ive had to uninstall and reinstall the app multiple times over the past year to get around this issue.

Real time cloud updating makes this a very special app. Has many layers, but I still use it simply for its plain beauty.

Very useful: critical information for weather and time in all the places I care about is right up front. I use the widget from the lock screen a lot. The badge on the app icon tells the temperature! But what makes me geek on this app is the ability to overlay many kinds of data as animated global heat maps! Inspires curiosity about weather and climate science ;)

If you want Stellarium get it for your PC. This is a good app but not much info on stars, like SkyView or Sky Guide. Stellarium had good features, but again, no better than free apps that do the same thing. I regret this purchase.

Always right

Just the thing to leave running on an old iPad as beautiful and informative scenery. But its deeper than that with a variety of weather map modes.
